Google algorithm was updated in august 2008 can devalue your site serp unless your site are trusted authority site.
Google always track for site changes.
mostly site changes are good for your site if it’s about a new content, but changes like title can alert google that you are trying to manipulate serp result.
webmasters report decrees of about %60 web visitor for google search engine when they changed the site title at anyway.
